Author Bio
C. D. Kirven was born in Waco and raised in Dallas, Texas. When she was 16 years-old, one of her “Dallas Teen Age” articles went over the AP wire raising awareness and generating interest that ultimately restricted the use of corporal punishment in Texas public schools. She graduated with a B.S. in communications from Texas Woman’s University and is a project manager within the utility industry. As a community activist, she has chaired many successful events for local organizations to raise money and support for food pantry programs that assist low-income HIV patients. She worked with OUTTAKES Dallas to bring DL Chronicles to DFW area.
